JAVIER DE LAS MUELAS LEADS THE MIXOLOGY TO THE UNIVERSITY
Javier de las Muelas and the CETT launch the first University Diploma of Cocktails and Mixology.
Javier de las Muelas, in an effort to raise awareness and convey his personal vision of bar culture has reached a deal with the international training center CETT, to launch the first University Degree in Mixology, the first in Spain. Javier de las Muelas is the Director of Conceptual Development of the new course to be taught at the CETT, attached to the University of Barcelona, in an effort to disseminate educational aspects, knowledge and professional and personal values.
The course Cocktails and Mixology, the only one of this area recognized by a University, will be taught in the Campus CETT-UB between the months of November 2015 and May 2016, will last 160 hours classroom and is aimed primarily at professionals.

The degree will have the support of several personalities linked to the world of mixology, but also other related disciplines such as theater, design, economics , etc. Among the committee members include Javier de las Muelas as director of the conceptual development of the course, Ariadna Gil, Gerard Acereda, José Manuel Toledano, Chantal Aimée, Héctor Henche, Javier Caballero, Alex Kratena, Simone Caporale, Kim Ossenblok, Marc Álvarez, Yhanaida Prado, Erik Lorincz, Pepe Dioni, Chris Meier, Manel Tirvió, Juan Carlos Muñoz, Alberto Gómez Font, Josep Maria Gotarda, Quim Vila, Carles Tejedor, Carlos Rolando, Francisco Pons, Roser Torras, Ricardo García-Nieto, Oriol Uria y Jordi Martí.
